My husband Richard and I took a trip to Nova Scotia, where we saw a rose-colored Victorian house along the water. We also learned about the men who fish for lobster. The inspiration to write Emily’s story came from these events.
...Emily McAllen couldn’t wait to leave her librarian job and run away to St. John’s Island in Nova Scotia. She inherited her Grandmother’s rose colored house and began to make a life there for herself. Free of her father’s controlling hand she starts to date. There’s Jared, the handyman, Mike, the ferryboat pilot, and Peter, the attorney. Who will she choose? Read A New Moon for Emily and find out.
